Privacy
We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.
Starter template
This describes how the software works today. Have it reviewed for your jurisdiction (for example GDPR) before launch.
What we store
- Your email address, an optional name, and a securely hashed password (we can't read it).
- Your answers about your situation (passports, Thai visa type, key dates, city), trips you log, and the type and expiry date of documents you add. We never store document scans or document numbers.
- Which deadlines you've marked done, snoozed or dismissed, and which reminder emails we've sent.
- Your Pro status from Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.
- If you opt in to The Thailand Brief: your email address plus your visa type, city, nationality and key dates, shared with our email provider Kit so your newsletter can be personalised. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out in your profile.
- Reminder emails are sent through our email provider (Resend).
Usage statistics
We count things like page views and sign-ups to understand what's useful. These counts don't include your IP address or browser fingerprint. To slow down abuse, we briefly keep a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting; it's cleared within a day.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
